I didn't want to drudge up a four year old topic, but I saw a few people having this problem so here goes:

Anyone been almost completely unable to download SFX the last few days? Occasionally it'll be fine at normal speeds, but most of the time I either get a network error after a prolonged attempt or a 2 MB file will take five minutes.

Any thoughts / ideas sad?

Today I had the same problem. It has been happening regularly lately. Never had slow downloads in the past.

I am currently experiencing this issue. Speed degrades to 40 kb/s then times out. Very frustrating. Any advice?

Just tried uploading some wav files today. The flash uploader complains of an IO error or Http error and the non-flash uploader just reports "there was an error.."
Tried in both Firefox an IE, Windows XP and 8.1 and finally both through Virgin Broadband and using mobile tethering...

Guys, please try not to mix things. This thread was about download speed. Apparently we did have some issues that are difficult to track, with respect to speed. Hopefully should be better now. But the last two messages are about uploading, which would belong to another thread. We had a problem with disk space which prevented uploads (for a short time) about a week ago. Should be good now.
